Belíssima visão do céu noturno criada por Vincent van Gogh é “Starry Night Over the Rhone” (Uma Noite Estrelada sobre o Ródano”), pintada em setembro de 1888 em Arles, no sul da França. Van Gogh ilustrou o Rio Ródano à noite. A pintura é um óleo sobre tela. Esta tela pode ser vista no Museu d’Orsay em Paris.
